Chapter 27: We could'a been killed
In Chapter 27, Art and the 332nd move close to the German border in December of 1944.
1. The account of the strafing is based on the unit history of the 332nd and recollections of 332nd veterans, but we do not know what Art thought about it as he did not write about it any of his letters.
