Chapter 31: Why go for 40?
In Chapter 31, Oscar and the aircrews of the 301st try to deal with the stress of repeated missions.
1. The details of the missions are based on the unit history of the 301st and Oscar's flight records.
2. Oscar does not recall hearing the story about Lazy Fox, bit it apparently was widely retold by AAF crewman during that time. The other jokes are as reported by Oscar.
