Chapter 36: My mother loved me
In Chapter 36, Oscar and his crew find themselves in dire straights after a mission to Vienna.
1. Details of the the mission are based on the unit history of the 301st and Oscar's recollections.
2. Oscar told Edna Mae that during the worst of the missions, the thought that kept him going was the knowledge that his mother loved him.
