	Johnny Letters, April, 1945 We know that John Koski wrote two letters to his brother Art in April of 1945. One was postmarked on April 2 and another was postmarked on April 13, just days before the Big Push. The envelopes for both letters were found carefully saved in Art Koski's files. Unfortunately, the letters were missing from the envelopes. The letters in Chapter 52 of Ordinary Heroes: Six Stars in the Window have been reconstructed based on family recollections of the tone of John's letters from that time.
